More Swatches: NYX & Amuse Long Lip Liners

Since I'm swatching all of my NYX lipsticks, I thought I might as well do swatches of the lip liners I currently have in my arsenal.
These are the NYX and Amuse long lip liner pencils, all of which I've bought from Cherry Culture in the past.
Those pencils are very equal in quality; I really like both brands, they're not too hard and not too soft. They are very easy to work with.

Pinky and Sexy Pink are extreme close dupes, so there's no need to pick up both of them.

I do have two more pencils that I wanted to show you; NYX Long lip pencil in "Natural", and NYX short lip pencil in "Citrine", but unfortunately I couldn't find them for this post. I'll do an update with these later.

That's all for now; hope this was helpful :)

NYX Round Lipstick Army; Part 5

Hello there!

Today I'm continuing swatching the NYX Round Lipsticks for you.
All of the lippies pictured here are shimmers more or less, with the exception of Circe and Honey which are cream colors. Circe is the ultimate nudie lip color in my opinion, you should definitely try it if opting for a J Lo look!

In the pictures some of these look very similar in the tubes (need to get a new camera), but there are differences, which I hope you'll be able to tell a little better when comparing the actual swatches.
Please don't hesitate to contact me should you have any questions/requests.

All rightie then, here we go...

Please excuse the horrific chicken skin!
I was standing outside in just a t-shirt, and it was so freezing cold :)

Hope you've enjoyed this part, stay tuned for part 6 coming very soon :)

Mavala Treatment Haul

Hello lovely ladies!

Bought these a few days ago; I really needed something to soften and remove my cuticles, and they sold this in a value pack.
I've tried the cuticle remover, and it did a great job. I've never used one of those products before, so I really don't have anything to compare it to, though.
I'm gonna alter between this base coat (it's a sticky one) and my Orly Bonder. I don't want to use the Orly too often, since it causes yellow staining to my nails...
I'm afraid I can't say much about the top coat, since I accidentally dropped it on the bathroom floor before I had the chance to use it, and of course it broke. Top coat all over the floor; well, it's all been cleaned up by now :)

Have you tried any Mavala products?

Love & beauty to y'all :)

My Jenulence Haul Arrived today :)

Look what was in the mailbox today; a package from Jenulence!

I ordered mostly samples; but they had a special offer going on where I could pick a 5 gram foundation jar for free, I like those offers :)
I have ordered from Jenulence once before, and I was very impressed with their foundation and the matte eye shadows. I've never been a matte shadow fan before, but I really liked these, so I ordered a few more samples in other colors. I also ordered a few shimmer and sparkle shadows, a bronzer and of course some blushes. (I have a problem with lipsticks and blushes; I can't seem to stay away from them :>)

Here they are:

This is a little bit darker than the pic shows...

Color descriptions:

The Matte colors:
  • Dawn - soft medium mauve/rosy/gray color matte eye shadow
  • Purple Night - dark, rich purple/brown color matte eye shadow
  • Fog - dark grayish-green color matte eye shadow
The Sparkle & Shimmer colors:
  • Lavender - soft light silver lavender color sparkling eye shadow
  • Pink Gold - soft warm color of pink gold
  • Bisque - soft light pink-beige color sparkling eye shadow
Foundation, Blush and Bronzer colors:
  • Neutral Beige Foundation (jar) - neutral beige mineral foundation/concealer formulated for heavier coverage for medium-to-light skin tone (this is the one I tried withh my first order, and it matched my skin tone very well)
  • Beige Foundation sample - beige mineral foundation/concealer formulated for heavier coverage for medium-to-light skin tone with light pink undertones (I don't know why I ordered this, I don't have pink undertones, so I'll give it away)
  • Apricot Blush - warm light apricot loose mineral blush
  • Peach Blush - warm color dark pink blush
  • Apricot Tan Blush - soft rusty/brown/apricot mineral blush
  • Warm Medium Tan Bronzer - similar to the Warmth by Bare Escentuals. It creates a natural sun-kissed fresh look to any complexion

Have you tried Jenulence? What did you think of their products?

That's all for today, see you soon :)

NOTD: Zoya Harmonie

Todays NOTD is Zoya Harmonie which is a shimmering purple/lavender metallic medium shade.
Application was trouble free, even though this is a metallic polish.
This is three coats, but it did cover after the second. It's just that I'm an habitual three coater, this application was no exception :)

Unfortunately it is cloudy today; so I cannot show you what it looks like in full sunlight (I'd like to know too :))
I promise to do an update when I have the ability to photograph it in full sun.

Playtime! Barry M Cherry EOTD

Hello!
Hope all is well with everyone :)

Today I actually managed to get some "playtime" so I decided to use my Barry M Dazzle Dust for the first time. I bought it some time ago, but I had forgotten about it till I spotted it in a drawer yesterday.
I find this product to be amazing! It's so (I mean SO) pigmented and the texture is a dream to work with. Very blendable and vibrant. I find this to be at least as good as MAC pigments.
I have two other shades of this, so I'll have to test drive them as well before I make my final judgment on these.

Well, on with it; these are all the products I used for todays look:

Face:

Earthen Glow Minerals Cover Me Foundation in "Camille"
Earthen Glow Minerals Blush in "Medium Rose"
Earthen Glow Minerals Radiant Powder in "Tahiti Sweetie"

Eyes:

UDPP as primer, NYX Doll Eye Mascara (black, volume formula)
Barry M Dazzle Dust in #34 "Cherry" - all over lid and along lower lash line
NYX Loose Pearl Shadow in LPo5 "Charcoal"
(which is more of a dark silver than a charcoal in my opinion) - outer 1/3 of lower lash line, applied over Cherry
Cory Cosmetics shadow in "Pharaoh" - outer v and crease
Coastal Scents "Paradise Diamond Pearl" mica - highlight on brow bone and inner parts and corners of the eyes
MAC Fluidline in "Nightfish" - upper lashline

MAC Fluidline, Barry M Dazzle Dust, NYX Loose Pearl

L-R: NYX Charcoal, Barry M Cherry, Cory Pharaoh (patted on dry)

Lips:

Isadora Lipliner in "Antique Rose"
NYX Diamond Sparkle Lipstick in "Sparkling Flamingo"
NYX Lipgloss w/Megashine in "Sweetheart"

And this is how it turned out...
