MAC Blue/Green/Teal EOTD

Good day everyone!

Today I felt an unexpected urge to play with my MAC samples; poor little jars, they mostly lie around in the drawer, not getting much attention at the moment... ;) I seem to have developed a weakness for blues and teals lately, which probably influenced my shade choices.

Shade descriptions:

-Azreal Blue - Cool Soft Blue with Silver Pearl
-Reflects Transparent Teal - Sparkling White with Turquoise
-Teal - Stunning medium shimmering blue/green with pearl
-Ice - Sparkling White/Silver
-Deep Blue Green - Rich, deep bluish green (Pearl)
-Silver Fog - Platinum silver (Pearl)
-Reflects Transparent Teal - Sparkling white with turquoise

Eyes:
Urban Decay Primer Potion
MAC Azreal Blue - inner 1/2 of eyelid up to brow bone
MAC Teal - outer 1/2 of eyelid up to brow bone, and outer 2/3 of lower lash line
MAC Deep Blue Green - outer v and crease
Ben Nye Ice - brow bone
MAC Silver Fog - close to tear duct and inner 1/3 of lower lash line
MAC Reflects Transparent Teal - lightly patted on all over lid as final step
MAC Fluidline in Nightfish - upper lash line
NYX Slim Eye Pencil in Sapphire - waterline
Maybelline Colossal Mascara in Black

Face:
Clinique Repairwear Foundation Beige
MUFE (Make Up Forever) Super Matte Loose Powder #16

Cheeks:
MAC Sheertone Shimmer Blush in Peachtwist

Lips:
NYX Lipliner in Natural
NYX Round Lipstick in Clio

Before liner and mascara...

All finished!

Hope you enjoyed this look - I am actually quite happy with how it turned out ;)
What bugs me is the fact that I couldn't capture the gorgeous twinkle/sparkle effect from the Reflects Transparent Teal pigment - my camera just refused to pick it up, obviously... Ah, well; I'll try to nail it next time ;)

Off to get some sleep now, it's almost midnight here... Good night!

xoxo

Very stunning!! I can not get my eye make up to look that beautiful!! I need to practice...I guess..lol! I have been browsing at the she space web site. And guess what colors I've been interested in? The blues and teals...lol! Are there any colors that you really like from she space? It doesn't have to be blue or teal. I'm having a hard time. So many colors to choose from!

Oh and yes I did read that it was MAC that you had used this time...lol! I just happened to think of she space while looking at your gorgeous eye make-up!

How beautiful you look. I can picture you in a filmy gown floating about with your fairy wings. Beautiful color combinations with all those shades. I love Mac but I only own 2 pigments.

Hi Krista!
Thanks! I think the MUFE powder is just so-so, an average loose powder, nothing special. It's very finely milled, though ;)

Hi Phyrra!
Thanks; I needed a break from the sweet, romantic looks...;)

Hi Velvet!
Thank you!
I know what you mean by having a hard time choosing shades; it's overwhelming sometimes ;)
Ohh; I have quite a few favorites, for instance Marshmallow Mist, Grooving Guppy, Magical Hats, Exiled From Eden, Clowns in Concert and Pumpkin Head, just to name a few.

Hi Mary!
Thanks so much! ;)

Hi Lucy!
Aww; thanks! Too bad I'm to old for Hollywood... ;)

Hi Alexlyndra!
Thank you so much; I appreciate it!

STUNNING!!! Can you tell me what type of brushes you use, or applicators? You get such nice small sections of intense color. My brushes just smear everything together.
PS - you are very talented!

Hi Robyn!
Thank you, sweetie, I appreciate that ;)

Hi MrsKiwiYeti!
Oh, the brushes are nothing special, just the average type, nothing expensive either ;) You know what; I've been meaning to do a post with pics of my brush collection...I promise I'll do one early next week, so please check back ;)
Thank you for the "PS" part; much appreciated!

I wonder if Clio is the same as the Clio in the NYX Lips formula?

Very pretty look on you!

Happy Mother's Day, if you celebrate it in Sweden.

Hi Karin!
I have no idea...?

Thank you! We do celebrate Mother's Day, but here it is on the last Sunday of May, so a couple of weeks from now ;)
