My Latest H2T Haul :)

Hi friends!

Hope your weekend is going well :)
I'm in a terrific mood today, since receiving my latest order from Head2Toe Beauty. The only draw back was that the package got stuck in customs, so I had to pay another $15 in order to get the goodies home with me, but hey; that's life.

This was inside the package:

ChG Watermelon Rind, Raspberry Festival (both from the Summer Days 2009 Collection) & Admire (from the Romantique Collection, spring 09) Red is a PITA to photograph accurately, what I can tell you is that RF looks waayyy more stunning IRL ;)

Color Club polishes, left to right: Recycle This!, Ride a Bike, Planet Punch, I Can't Believe It's Tofu & Babe
Those four mini polishes are 0.25 Oz (7 ml) each and are from the One & Done eco collection. Babe is from the original collection

OPI Mod-ern Girl, Poshé Fast Drying Top Coat & Seche Restore Thinner

Can't wait to swatch all of these! Also it will be interesting to compare Seche Vite to Poshé top coat. Although I'm very happy with Seche, it causes some shrinkage when used with my Zoya polishes. Perhaps the only way to deal with that is to use Zoya's own base and top coat (Anchor & Armor), I really don't know.
What are your experiences?

xoxo

Actually, I use China glaze's base coat and then the Seche Vite top coat and I didn't have shrinkage when I did that with Zoya's polish.

Pretty colors :)

Ahh, perhaps I'll try that, thanks for the tip, P ;)

Please let me know if you come up with another way, as well :)
I had shrinkage when I used my Orly base and top coat, which is why I decided to try the China Glaze base and the Seche top.

I think Raspberry Festival will look gorgeous on you, and I bet you'll love how delicate Admire is. The Romantique collection really has some beauties.

I'll swatch those ASAP; curious, y'a know ;)
The Romantique coll is so pretty, I agree!

I have used Zoya's Armor and Anchor 2 times with Zoya np's. The first time was great! Held up for a couple days w/o chips or shrinkage. The other time I had chips the next day! Not too sure what I did differently, but it's worth a try.
You have a great haul there. Can't wait to see the swatches!

Nessa;
That's strange! I will look into them eventually, like you say, it's worth a try ;)

Well I've never had a problem using Poshe with Zoya - and I almost never use a base coat (haven't found one I'm willing to commit to). So see how you go!
Great haul to drool over :)

I've tried ChG Fast forward and I'm on my first bottle of Seche vite right now. Both of them shrinks all of my polishes if I don't wrap the nail, it sucks!

I never hade any shrinkage with Seche but I have acrylic nails, so I think it depends what you use under your polish.

Nixxy; I'll see how Poshe compares to Seche - it'll be interesting!

Kajsa; Interesting to know, and you're right - it does suck! ;)

CrazyNails; Mostly I use CND Stickey Base Coat followed by OPI Ridge Filler and then 3 coats of polish followed by top coat. I think you do have a point here - the end result might also be depending on what is used UNDER the polish. I'll do some experimenting ;)

Nice colors you choose. I bought the entire China Glaze Summer Collection. The Romantique's I only bought one. The more I see them, the more I like them. Maybe I'll buy more!

Thank you, Lucy :)
You bought the whole collection, wow! They are stunning.
Perhaps I'll buy a few more eventually;)
