Good day everyone! I hope your week has started out well ;)
Mine has; it's warm and sunny, and therefore I'm doing my best not to spend too much time on the Internet right now, hence not very many post these last days ;)
It's wonderful to be able to spend most of the days in the garden with the little one and the dogs, now when the weather finally allows for it ;)
So today I did a bronzey look using Dreamworld Minerals and Cory Cosmetics for the eyes...
Shade descriptions:
* Goll - Deep dark brown with copper
* Antarctica - sweet cream at first glance, but has a very light green iridescence. Or is that blue...?
* Jasper - darkened mid brown shade with muted bronze and red undertones
* Rift - sparkly mid bronze and copper color with lime undertones
Eyes:
Urban Decay Primer Potion
Dreamworld Minerals Goll - all over eyelid up to brow bone
Dreamworld Minerals Antarctica - inner part of lid, on brow bone and close to tear duct
Cory Cosmetics Rift - outer v and crease
Cory Cosmetics Jasper - lower lash line
MAC Fluidline in Nightfish - upper lash line
Maybelline Colossal Mascara in black
Face:
Earthen Glow Minerals Cover Me Foundation in Paris
Dreamworld Minerals Ghostly Glo Illuminating Glow Powder
Cheeks:
Earthen Glow Minerals Peaches Copper blush
Earthen Glow Minerals Bronzing Powder in Early Summer
Lips:
NYX Slim Lipliner in Nectar
NYX Black Label Lipstick in Summer Love
NYX Lipgloss with Megashine in Frosteed Beige (it's not a typo; it actually says "frosteed" on the label....
I'm actually quite happy with how this look turned out; I adore Dreamworld and Cory; their pigments are so pigmented and easy to work with, big thumbs up ;) (sound like an advertiser, I swear I'm not :))
So; what's your take on this look?
That's all for now; take care & I hope to see you soon ;)
xoxo

Well...I'm no good to give you an objective opinion...lol! I think whatever you do with eye make-up. Is just gorgeous!! I really like the color choices you've picked. Good for casual wear, around the home. Or out running errands/shopping.
Just beautiful..I love those colors and the lips are so beautiful too...I can never get that right....I agree with you on Dreamworld. They are so easy to work with and you don't lose the color when you blend. I love them. I can't wait to get my little order from them...When it is nice out it is so hard to stay in...get out while you can....
Hi Velvet!
Thank you; I agree, it's a propriate running errands look ;)
Hi Krista!
Thank you! Oh, you're to modest; you can get it right, I've seen your FOTD's :)
Thanks for supporting my getting out the door, lol :)
You look lovely! I really like the bronze color on your eyes. I've never heard of Cory, is that only in Europe?
Hi Mary!
Thanks ;)
Hell no; Cory is as American it can get, located in Heber Springs, Arkansas ;)
You'll find the link to her store under the "where to haul" section to the right.
Your skin looks flawless always too...Very gorgeous!!
This is VERY pretty on you!! It looks great!! :)
I've never heard of this brand. Very pretty Vanessa. A classic look, very Grace Kelly to me. I love the finishes that Mineral makeup can have. Some of them aare very surprising when you put them on.
Hi again Krista!
Thank you for commenting on my skin; I really appreciate that ;)
Hi Olivia!
Thanks a bunch :)
Hi Lucy!
Mineral makeup is really something extra, I love it ;) And you're right about them sometimes looking completely different when on the skin/eyes, etc. One thing I've learned is to never judge a color by the sample baggie... ;)
Wow Vanessa! I don't know what to say that hasn't already been said. I think we all agree this is a beautiful look on you. It's one of my favorites thus far. Can't say that I've perused Dreamworld or Cory's sites. I'll have to check them out.
Hi Robyn!
Thanks sweetie, much appreciated ;)
Do check out those sites, Cory's samples are only $0.45 so you can get a bunch of samples without breaking the bank!
These colours look very good on you..:)
Thanks, ITM! ;)
