Ok, so I first heard about "threading eyebrows" quite some time ago, but it wasn't until just the other night I decided to do some Googling too see if I could find some info about it.
And did I ever... I found numerous very informative You Tube videos, a few of which I watched.
Of course I got so intrigued and curious, so I decided to try it on myself later that night, and I'm so glad I did. This is totally awesome! It's a little tricky the first few minutes before you get the hang of it, but seriously I'm completely blown away by this technique!! I've had great results, and it's so much quicker and less painful than using tweezers.
So; bye-bye tweezers, it was nice to make your acquaintance...
EDIT::: I really hope you are able to watch the video satisfactory! If it's not working correctly, please leave me a comment! This is my first "trying-to-embed-a-You Tube-video-in-a-post", and I'm not completely sure I've done it right... :)
There are lots more vids regarding this on You Tube, just do a search for "threading"..
Anyone tried / going to try this?
xoxo

Jag har konverterat från pincett till sytråd... :)
Hi Vanessa! Video did work. That is so cool! Just taking thread you have at home and twisting it. Hmmm... Now if I can gather the courage up to try it,lol! Thanks for posting it!
cool, I think I might try this. I have pretty thick, quick growing eyebrows so tweezing is a must must must for me.
Hi Velvet!
You're welcome! This is far to good to keep for myself.. ;)
Let me know if you try it, will ya?
Brooke; do try it, when you get the hang of it I don't think you'll ever wanna go back to tweezing again.. :)
I have refused to even try this! I'm afraid. I love getting my bushy brows tamed by hot wax. It works great and lasts a long time.
Hi TPBG!
Great that it is working well for you!
Do you get them done at a salon or at home? Doesn't it hurt like h**l? ;)
I'm an esthetician and I even recommend threading to clients lol...I personally cant do it really well, but I LOVE the finished look. It's a lot more cleaner then waxing. Although threading makes me tear up and turn red, while waxing doesnt. But I still prefer it :)
Hi Beachbunnydesigns!
How cool :)
It really gets rid of all those pesky, light thin little hairs that you can barely see, and it's soooo much faster than tweezing! I have never tried waxing, so I really have no idea of what that's like. Great to hear an esthetician recommends it ;)
I've always wanted to try this! My friend from Canada recommended it; I guess I'll have to try it myself!
Thanks for sharing the video, Vanessa. It does look much easier than I would have thought. I have lots of wispy light hairs that are difficult to see so this technique sounds perfect for that.
Hi TAG!
I say "Go Ahead"!! :D
Hi Robyn!
Yeah, those wispy light hairs are so annoying; my tweezers wouldn't even grasp them. This technique get rid of them all. Seriously! No kidding! :)
I am a tweezer nut. Everyday I look into my 9x magnification mirror. I try and tweeze every little hair. I hate when those pesky little hairs get away from me. I would love to try this and will have to watch the video.
Let me know if you try it, will you?
Good Luck! :)
