NOTD: China Glaze Beauty and the Beach

Hope you are having a great Easter weekend!

Todays NOTD is China Glaze Beauty and the Beach, which is a gorgeous Caribbean teal/turquoise aquamarine shimmer! Perhaps not the ordinary color choice for an Easter mani, but who the heck says we always have to be conventional? :)
This one went on easily, three coats were needed for it to be opaque, though.

Full on sun...

Slightly different angle...

Shade...

How about you; do you have any shades from this collection?

'Til next time...

I've actually never heard of this collection - but that blue is fantastic! China Glaze do the best blues I think...

Hi Nixxy!
It's a great collection; I only have this one yet, but I know that Phyrra and Pixie also have Fiji Fling shades, of which they have posted pics on their blogs. I do agree with ya; China Glaze make awesome blues :)

Hi Phyrra!
I love it too :)

It is a great color. Do CG polishes usually take three coats to reach opacity or just some of the colors?

It's so fab! This color looks so beautiful with your skintone! I think I've got a couple of these. Not sure, not at my house to go check the polish bins...lol! Still at my mom's house.

That's a beautiful color, it's very glowy! I don't think I've ever seen these, I'll have to do some checking.

Hi Robyn!
They usually tend to take three coats to be completely opaque and even. The exception is the Romantique Collection, they are almost completely opaque in one single coat.

Hi Lucy!
Yep; many nice shades in this collection ;)

Hi Tuli!
Thank you!
I say: go get it girl! :)

Hi Arleen!
Thank you so much!

Hi Velvet!
Thank you!
Time to dig it out of the bin :)

Hi Mary!
Yes, it's very glowy, part of why I really like it. I like colors that seem to be lit from within.

Hi just curious if you have any other colors from the Fiji collection that you could swatch? I have only seen coconut kiss besides beauty and the beach, which is a great color!!! Thanks....

Hi csarah!
I'm sorry, I only have this one as of yet. But do a google search for china glaze plus the color names, and I'm sure you'll find something. Otherwise, visit www.nailgal.com or flickr.com and try a search there (nailgal is a community nail polish resource)
Good luck!
