NOTD: NYX Wild

Hey all; how's Tuesday treating you? ;)

Today's NOTD is NYX Wild. I'm not even sure how to describe this color, but to me it resembles a muted, dusty dark blue/green with a strong golden interference.
Consistency is kind of runny, which usually means you're dealing with a sheer polish, and boy, this was sheer indeed. The swatches below are f-i-v-e (5) coats! That's how many it took to achieve bottle color and cover that dreaded VNL. Although I kind of like the shade (very unique), I doubt I will reach for this one very often; I don't have that much patience ;)

Jeez; I really hope the rest of the NYX polishes from my recent haul aren't as sheer as this one...!

How do you find this one?

Hope to see you soon ;)

xoxo

Hi Krista!
Like I wrote above, I don't think I'll reach for it that often due to the work...
But it is a unique and interesting color, indeed ;)

NYC #247 is similar in color but without the application problems. That is pretty but I HATE 5 coaters!

Pretty color but 5 coats! No thanks. I almost put in an order from Cherry Culture. I was going to order the glitter NYX polishes. There is just numbers and no pictures! I have to go on the NYX website to find the colors. I also hope all the polishes aren't like the 5 coater.

Jäklar, fem lager är på tok för många! Med mitt NYX Techno krävdes ungefär tre och där går gränsen tycker jag. Detta var dock en fint lack!

Very interesting color. Kind of reminds me of Opi's Glacier Blues from the Canadaian collection. But five coats...geez!! I hate that! When you get a great color but very sheer and runny!

Conclusion; yep, it's a pretty color but five-coaters s-u-c-k!! :D

Hello. I happened to be searching for reviews on Chagrin Valley soap and I cam across your blog. I just wanted to suggest that you watermark your personal photos, especially those of your nails. A lot of people, especially eBay sellers, have been known to jack photos from blogs and use them to sell their products. Just a suggestion.
