NOTD: Zoya Annie

Hope everyone is having a great Saturday :)

This is Zoya Annie, which to me resembles a medium tangerine/orange metallic shade with a very subtle silver shimmer. In the bottle it has a slight green opalescence to it, which isn't visible on the nails though. I'm not sure this is a very work appropriate shade, but it's definitely a great choice for a summer mani :)

The swatches are three coats, very smooth application.

Direct sunlight...

Shade...

I like this one, although it's the most orange that I will go, any "orangier" than this and my fingers look corpsish...
What do you think of this one?

Oooh! I have the same problem trying to wear orange, but that looks like it might be good for me as well!

On another note - I was trying to search for some more of your sinful polishes on the blog, but you don't have a search toolbar on top of the page like other blogger sites. What gives?

Hi Nixxy!
I'll have to get a search function, then :) Good tip! However, since these are my very first Sinfuls, you wouldn't have come up anything by doing a search ;)
Let me know if you try Annie!

Oh; and Nixxy, there's always the labels, though, that are located at the sidebar to the right if the's something specific you are looking for :)
Perhaps this wasn't what you meant, though?

yeah, I ended up going through them - I'm just lazy and use the search function alot! :) hehe

This is a gorgeous shade!
I'd been debating whether or not I should pick up a Zoya coral. They had a 'get Midori free if you place an order before 3pm today' 2 days ago, so I got Midori for free and picked out Katy and Calypso. Calypso is in the coral family. Now I'm wishing I had grabbed Annie too! Beautiful pictures!

That is such a lovely "orange" shade. So pretty on you! I think I can wear most shades of orange. Hmm... maybe oranges with yellow look a little weird on me...lol!

Hi Phyrra!
Oh; Midori seems really pretty, and Calypso is on my buy list! I haven't seen any swatches of it, though, so I really look forward to seeing it o you :)

Hi Velvet!
Thank you!
You certainly can wear oranges; judging from the swatches I've seen over at your cozy place ;)

I love the way your nails look so perfectly manicured...How do you find the time to get them so greatly polished...The colors you pick are superb too....

I like that color, it's so shiny in your "shade" picture. I agree, it's a perfect orange shade. Sometimes those colors look a bit odd on me.

Lovely shade Vanessa. I do like Zoya polishes. I haven't bought any in quite some time. I guess it's time for a visit. Have a nice weekend with your family.

Oooh! In general I also stay far away from orange nail polishes due to the 'corpse' effect, but this one I might have to give a try. I think the silver shimmer might make the difference!

Hi Krista!
Thank you!
To tell you the truth; with a 15 month old girl running around like crazy, putting her little fingers everywhere they shouldn't be, I actually don't have much time right now ;)
What has made the world of difference to me is finding Seche Vite! I put on those layers of polish (waiting a few minutes in between) and then the Seche on top of it. Dry to the touch within a minute. Completely dry within 5-6 minutes. I remember before discovering Seche Vite, I never even bothered to put on nail polish, because it was always ruined almost immediately, due to the long drying time. Now, all in all this routine doesn't take me any longer than 15 minutes max. I often paint my nails when my daughter takes her morning nap :) As for cuticle care, filing and that other stuff; I usually do that after I've finished showering in the evening, right before I get to bed. Yep; I'm an evening shower gal ;) Long answer, I hope you're still awake...?

Hi Mary!
This shade is pretty shiny by itself, but Seche Vite adds to the shine factor ;)

Hi Lucy!
Thank you, you have a good one too!

Hi avroys!
Yep, it does make a difference! Do give it a try, it's perfect for the upcoming summer ;)

It's gorgeous on you (but then what isn't). I'm at a point in my life where I'm giving warm colors a chance for the very first time, whether it be e/s or nail polish. And I think I could really wear this one well. It's a beautifully ripe color.
